Bell Frolic

This lyrical, upbeat, and joyful original work was created to include a bell tree solo with handbell choir accompaniment … and it does not require duplicate bells to play it! The dedicated bell tree notes are C6 – C7 and Mike has assigned those "missing" bell notes to handchimes. The interplay between the bell tree and handchimes is engaging and one section features a delightful antiphonal effect between the bell tree and chimes supported by a malleted bell part beneath.  The addition of flowing LV passages and shakes add to the magic!  This is a completely delightful work that audiences will love and your musicians will enjoy ringing!
